SENTIO

Derived from the Latin sentire: to perceive, to experience, to be affected, to discern, to understand.

In its original sense, to feel involves both the senses and the mind.

Contemporary work in neuroscience has confirmed what this ancient conception already suggested: thought does not develop independently of affective and bodily experience.
Discernment is rooted in life.

Sentio is based on this understanding:
Human experience is not fragmented into sensation, emotion, and thought.
It unfolds in their interaction.
Perceiving, experiencing and understanding transform the relationship to oneself and, consequently, to the world.
